I did the entire chain in 2 days last weekend with a char I just finished EOTN with. This is starting with Zinn's trial and the horrible dialogues in HOM chamber through finishing BLA.

This isn't going away any time soon.

The content is there to stay permanently for as long as Arena.Net decides to let it.

I doubt ArentNet will take away the WiK for the simple fact that it all takes place after EtoN and it builds story leading to GW2. Since I've read they plan to continue to add story elements to bridge GW1 and GW2 it wouldn't make sense to take it away.

yep you can do it and repeat it on all your characters. you just have to start it by going through all the dialogues which is a pain. i still see people pugging for the missions as well

WiK is currently treated just like the Titan quests or Sorrow's furnace - additional content every character can play after they finish the appropriate content. Even new characters, created afterwards, will still get to play WiK content.
